Mr. Lawrence E. Howard, 46 of Rome, NY passed away on Monday October 29, 2007 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Lawrence was born in Utica on August 24, 1961 the son of Ernest M. and Jean E. (Rastley) Howard. He was raised locally and was a graduate of JFK High school. For a number of years until his illness, Lawrence was employed with Mohawk Hospital Supply in Utica. He was a member of American legion Post 229, N. Utica and a parishioner of St. Peter's Church, N. Utica. He was a past member of the Eagles Club in Marcy. Lawrence was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and spending time at Moose River Falls. Mr. Howard is survived by his loving parents, Ernest and Jean Howard, N. Utica; one sister and brother-in-law, LoriJean and Alan Cifonelli, N. Utica; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Timothy and Diana Howard, S. Utica and Robert Howard, N. Utica and cherished nieces and nephews, Zanthan Howard, his Godson David Howard, BarbaraJean Howard, his God daughter Kelly Howard, Timmy Howard Jr., Rory Cifonelli, his Godson Gabriel Cifonelli and Allie Cifonelli. Mr. Howard's funeral will be held on Saturday November 3, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Macomb, NY.
