Joseph Price Obituary
Joseph Price Whitesboro, NY On September 9th, 1 day after his birthday, Joe Price was finally at rest from lung cancer. He adored his family that surrounded his bed while he parted from this world, reluctantly. Joe lived a full life but was never really concerned about his accomplishments, only that he loved working for the Utica Fire Department for 26 years, and the Bank of NY where his beloved friends at the bank never let him think he was alone for one minute. You all gave him love and encouragement and for that we will be forever grateful. Joe and Sandy later owned Whitestown Tropical Fish an endeavor that lasted 11 years. Our neighbors always made him feel loved and valued and Joe loved all of you back. Words can never say how much fun we had with our dear friends, Kenny and Linda Budlong, Joe will be waiting for you at Moose McGillicudy's for that Mai Tai. Joe enjoyed his membership to "Knife World" and there will never be another who could do a ship in the bottle like you. Joe leaves behind his best friend and beloved wife of 39 years, Sandy; two daughters, Laurie Graham and her husband William and Susan Hazeltine; one son, Joseph Price III and his wife Monica; His mother, Helen Price; One brother, Gary Price and his wife Vivian; six cherished grandchildren, Kevin Moreau, William Graham, Daniel Graham, Jordan Hazeltine, Nikole Leach, and Lillian Price; many wonderful aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who he held dear to his heart; three sisters-in-law, Gloria Williams, Barb Ziezio and Vicky Zysk and her husband Bob; many great neighbors and friends especially two of the most amazing and caring friends, Kenny and Linda Budlong. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Price, Sr. and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alec and Marian Pilnicki. A special thank you to Officer Robert Maciol for going above and beyond the call of duty. In keeping with Joe's wishes, there are no services or calling hours.
