Felicia A. Swiderski, 85, of Utica passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Felicia was born in Utica on September 12, 1931, a daughter of Paul and Agnes (Treska) Kudla. She was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. At Holy Trinity Church on August 13, 1955, Felicia was united in marriage to Jacob W. Swiderski, a blessed union of 57 years until his death on December 17, 2012. At one time, Felicia was employed at Utica Mutual Insurance Co. She was happiest being a homemaker and devoted her life to her family. Felicia attended the Church of the Sacred Heart and St. Mary Our Lady of Czestochowa, New York Mills. Felicia is survived by a daughter, Cindy Hunzinger, of Utica, a son, Brian and his wife, Marybeth, of Whitesboro, four grandchildren, Mike and Ann Marie Hunzinger, of Rome, Dan and Regina Hunzinger, of Colonie, NY, Laura Hunzinger and fiance, Chris Lewis, of Guilderland, NY and David Swiderski, of Columbia, MD, five great grandchildren, Tristan, Aidan and Jace Hunzinger, of Rome and Emma and Jack Hunzinger, of Colonie, a brother, Walter Kudla and his wife, Georgia, of Whitesboro and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, a son-in law, Thomas Hunzinger and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sophie and Stanley Socha, Stella and Walter Szymanski and Julia and Charles Jarosz. Mrs. Swiderski's funeral will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 8:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica and 9:00 at Church of the Sacred Heart and St. Mary Our Lady of Czestochowa. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4 - 7.
