Diane K. Scharff, 63 of Utica passed away on Thursday February 8, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital with her loving family by her side. Teensie was born in Utica on May 25, 1943 a daughter of Ralph W. Bush and the late Pauline M. (Hartlieb) Bush. She was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and the Utica Business School. At Sacred Heart Church, Utica on August 29, 1969 Teensie married Richard A. Scharff. He died on March 7, 1989. For many years she was employed at the F.X. Matt Brewing Co. then later with the Credit Bureau of Utica. Teensie is survived by two sons, Richard Scharff, NY and Steven Scharff, CO, her father, Ralph W. Bush, New Hartford, four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Robert Loomis, New Hartford, her twin sister, Deanna Bush, TX, Patricia Chambers, Baldwinsville, NY and Susan and Allen Wolfe, Sauquoit, a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph W. and Donna Bush, Chelmsford, MA, and a special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Janet Scharff, New Hampshire. Teensie is also survived by a large extended family. She was predeceased by her mother Pauline Bush in 1999 and her son Peter James Scharff in 2005. Calling hours for Mrs. Scharff will be held on Sunday February 11, 2007 from 1:00 ? 4:00 At the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica with a funeral service to be held at 4:00. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro will be held at the convenience of the family. Please no flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association in Teensie's memory.
