Mr. Martin S. Skermont, Jr., 35, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 12, 2016. Martin was born in Utica on October 20, 1981 the son of Martin S. Skermont, Sr. and the late Diane A. (Fortugno) Skermont and received his education in Utica schools. Marty's life was centered around his son, Marty III, who was the joy of his life. Martin is survived by his beloved son, Marty III and his mom, Danielle Simpson of Utica; his father, Martin Sr., of Utica; two sisters, Tammy Skermont and Tania Skermont both of Utica as well several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to numerous to mention. Funeral services, entrusted to Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., Utica will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
