Mr. Carl J. Scaramuzzino, 71 of Baldwinsville, NY, formerly of Utica and Winter Park, FL passed away on Sunday June 18, 2006 at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY. Carl was born in Utica on April 12, 1935 the son of Carmelo and Rachael (Manella) Scaramuzzino and received his education in local schools. On April 28, 1956 Carl married Erminie L. Boehlert in Herkimer, NY. For many years, Carl was employed in the quality control department with UNIVAC Corporation and later as assistant manager with OTB in Utica. He was a coach of both the Cornhill Little League and Cornhill Pop Warner football and was an umpire with the Oneida County Umpires Association. Carl was a past member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Utica. Mr. Scaramuzzino is survived by his beloved wife, Erminie; one daughter, Lisa Scaramuzzino, FL; three sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Ramona Scaramuzzino, Utica, George and Nora Scaramuzzino, FL and James and Christy Scaramuzzino, Baldwinsville, NY; nine grandchildren, Raymond, Stephen, John, Robert, Kristyna, Philip, Michael, Vincent and Rachael Scaramuzzino; three step grandchildren, Devon, Dawson and Jessica; one sister-in-law, Diane Scaramuzzino, Camillus, NY and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Teresa Bartolotti and a brother, Joseph Scaramuzzino. Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. Scaramuzzino's memorial Mass of Christian burial that will be celebrated on Tuesday (today) June 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph St. Patrick Church, Utica. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., Utica.
