Patricia A. Maggi, 87, of the Masonic Care Community and formerly of North Utica passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born in Manhattan, New York on January 30, 1931, a daughter of John J. and Christine Mae (Polak) Aldine. In Utica, on September 2, 1950, Patricia was united in marriage to Thomas J. Maggi, Jr, a blessed union of 56 years until his passing in 2006. At one time Patricia was employed at Boston Store and later was a district manager for Avon. Patricia was a local artist and studied at Munson Williams. Patricia is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Sandra Maggi III, of N. Utica, a grandson, Ryan Thomas Maggi, of N. Utica and two sisters, Barbara Gaylord and Roberta Anberg, both of New Hartford. Calling hours for Mrs. Maggi will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 From 5-7 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica with a service to be held at 7:00. Those so wishing may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Patricia’s memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kevin McCormick and the entire staff of Masonic Care especially acknowledging the Erie Household for the loving care given to Patricia.
