John E. Mouland N. Utica John E. Mouland, 61, of Tryon Rd., N. Utica, formerly of Timmins, Ontario, passed away April 20, 2006 at St. Luke's Healthcare Center after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. John was born July 3, 1944 in Sidney, Nova Scotia, the son of Thomas and Doris Mouland. He was raised and educated in Nova Scotia and later graduated from Nova Scotia Technical College with a degree in Metallurgy. On December 27, 1966 in Liverpool, Nova Scotia he was married to Sandra Whynot. For 25 years he was employed at Falcon Bridge in Timmins, Ontario. Moving to Utica in 2000, John was employed with the Indium Corporation of Utica. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church of Utica. John believed in volunteering. He was a member of the Utica Lions Club and a great number of charities in the area. A loving and devoted husband, son and father, John is survived by his wife, Sandra; his mother, Doris; and two daughters, Tanya Ivy and Erica Ann and her friend, John Theo, all of Toronto, Canada; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Gerry Mouland of Sidney, Nova Scotia; loving sisters and brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his "best buddy", Sam. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Mouland in 1965. Mr. Mouland's memorial service will be held Sunday, April 23, at 4 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, Utica. Relatives and friends are invited. His burial will take place in Nova Scotia at a later date.
