Walter S. Jablonski N. Utica Mrs. Walter S. Jablonski, age 85 of Utica passed away on Wednesday November 22, 2006 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center, New Hartford. Walter was born in Utica on August 12, 1921 a son of Demko and Sophie Jablonski and received his education locally. Walter honorably served his country in the US Army during WW II. On October 23, 1948 Walter married Irene V. Murawski in Holy Trinity Church in Utica. He was employed as a sheet metal worker most of his life and at one time owned his own business. Walter was handyman who had the ability to fix anything. He was a parishioner of St. Peter's Church, N. Utica. Mr. Jablonski is survived by Irene, his loving wife of 58 years: a daughter Kathleen and her husband James Hardock and their children, Dana, Keith and Christopher of Aberdeen, NJ; two sons and their wives, David and Michele Jablonski and their two daughters, Valeria and Jennifer of Utica and Gary and Aniela Jablonski and their children, Amy and Ryan of Alpharetta, GA; He is also survived by a great grandson, Tyler Jablonski; one brother, Alexander Jablonski, of Utica; one nephew, Ronald Jablonski of Deerfield and a niece Janice Sackett of Hollis, NH and Oakland Park, FL; He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Genevieve Jablonski. Mr. Jablonski's funeral will be held on Monday November 27, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica and 11:00 at St. Peter's Church where his mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Yorkville, NY. Calling hours for family and friends are Sunday 4-7 p.m. In keeping with Walter's wishes please omit floral offerings.
