Elaine A. Bray Utica Elaine A. Bray, 68, of Utica, formerly of Franklin, MA, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Faxton - St.Luke's Healthcare Center in New Hartford. Elaine was born in New Hartford on May 17, 1938, the daughter of John Calvin and Annabelle (McBee) White. She was raised and educated in the Utica area, graduating from Utica Free Academy and later from Utica School of Commerce. She then lived in Franklin, MA for 30 years before returning to Utica. Elaine enjoyed reading and knitting, and sometimes donated her knitting to various charities. She was of the Methodist faith. Elaine is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Cathy and Richard Costabile, Rhode Island, Karen Bray and her fiancé, Kenneth Plante, Rhode Island; a grandson, Jeffrey Costabile, Rhode Island; and a sister, Joan Murphy, Utica. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Elaine's funeral will be held Monday, July 24, 2006 at 11:30 am at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Road, Utica. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Kirkland. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 9:30 ? 11:30 am, prior to the funeral. Those wishing may donate to the Stevens Swan Humane Society or to the United Way in Elaine's memory.
