Barbara Ann Zebrowski, 70, of Schuyler passed away on Monday November 6, 2006 at the St. Luke's Home. Barbara was born in Utica on November 1, 1936 a daughter of Rudolph and Bertha (Szablak) Pernat. At Holy Trinity Church, Utica on May 4, 1957 Barbara married Stanley (Ben) Zebrowski, a blessed union of 49 years. For many years Barbara worked at the Board of Elections. She was a parishioner of St. Peter's Church, North Utica. Barbara had a great love for all of her grandchildren and followed all of their activities with great interest. She always loved horses and enjoyed going to Saratoga. Barbara also loved art and music and instilled a similar interest in her children and grandchildren. One of her favorite places to be was near the water, a lake, a river and most especially the ocean. Barbara is survived by her husband Stanley (Ben), two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Kim Zebrowski, Clifton Park, NY and Gary and Colleen Zebrowski, Colonie, NY, four cherished grandchildren, Julia, Kara, Brendan and Adam, a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Charleen Pernat, Whitesboro, an aunt and uncle, Eleanor and Albert Majka, New Hartford, and in-laws, Joseph and Betty Zebrowski, Hubbardsville, Sophia Greco, MD and Stella Benesch, MD and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Zebrowski's funeral will be held on Friday November 10, 2006 at 8:45 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica and at 9:30 from St. Peter's Church, North Utica. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Whitestown, Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 4-7. Those so wishing may make donations to the American Cancer Society in Barbara's memory.
