Joanne L. Adorino, 69, of Utica passed away on July 3, 2014, with her loving children by her side. She was born on August 4, 1944, a daughter of the late Frank R. and Helen C. Reilly-Giruzzi. Joanne was raised and locally educated. Her career began at the Oneida County Department of Public Works and she later held a position at U.F.C.W. Local One until her retirement in 1999. Joanne’s lifes passion was her family. The greatest grace of her life shined in the eyes of her children and grandchildren who loved her so dearly. She will be deeply missed. Joanne is survived by her loving daughters and sons in law; Kimberly and Raymond Montanarelli, Stacy and Larry Klein and her adored son Anthony T. Adorino IV and his fiance Hilary Lesniak. Her precious grandchildren; Alexa Rae, Nicholas, Zachary, Hannah, Mia and Lucia. Her siblings; Frank Giruzzi and wife Betty, Joseph Giruzzi and wife Mary, James Giruzzi and wife Denise, Mark Giruzzi and wife Judi, Dr. Cynthia Cahill and husband Jim, Mary Rose Giruzzi-Green and husband Darryl, and sister-in-law Adele Reilly. Also remembering her special friend Arthur (Butch) Williams, whom she shared many years of deep admiration, adventure and support. Also, left to mourn is her cherished friend Liz (Lizzie) Nole, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her former husband Anthony T. Adorino III and his companion Joan Brenon. She was predeceased by her brothers Dennis E. Reilly and James F. Reilly who she held close to her heart. The family will honor Joanne's life in a private gathering. Relatives and friends are respectively invited to attend Joanne's Mass of Christian Burial, which will commence on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 12:00 noon at St. Marks Church, North Utica. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of the mass. Interment will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
