Gladys M. Theobald, 90, of Summerfield, FL, formerly of Whitesboro, NY, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Oakhurst Care Center, Ocala, FL. Gladys was born in Yorkville, NY, on January 22, 1926, daughter of Harry J and Mary (Shaw) Millson. She was educated in Sacred Heart and Whitesboro schools. On February 1, 1947 she was married to Nelson A Theobald in Sacred Heart Church, a loving marriage of 52 years until Nelson's passing in 1999. Gladys had been employed at the Continental Can/ Utica Box and General Electric. Gladys is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda & David Rahn, Summerfield, FL (formerly of Westmorland) with whom she lived for several years before her passing. Gladys is also survived by two loving grandchildren and their spouses, Christine & James Cosimeno, Oriskany NY, David and Shelley Rahn, Oswego NY; six great-grandchildren, Justin and Shawn Osterhoudt, Whitesboro NY, Haleigh and Madison Rahn, Oswego NY, David and Dominick Cosimeno, Oriskany NY; a sister-in-law, Agnes Millson, Colonie, NY, as well as several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Mary Ellen. She also leaves a close and caring friend, Debra Sharrow, Floyd, NY. Gladys is predeceased by two sisters, Anna Clark and Gertrude Bak, and two brothers, George and Harry Millson. Mrs. Theobald’s funeral will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11:30 am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Whitesboro, where her Mass of Christian Burial will take place. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Whitestown. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton, Wednesday evening, from 4 – 7 pm.
