Obituary of Angelo Marrero

     Mr. Angelo Marrero, 57, of Utica, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

     Angelo was born in Hoboken, NJ, on December 29, 1961, the son of Louis and Angela (Jimenez) Marrero and received his education in Hoboken schools.  At one time, Angelo was married to Frances Marrero.  For over 20 years, he was employed with Casa Imports and more recently as a welder with Metal Logix in Utica.  Angelo will be remembered as a handyman and Jake of all trades, who was always ready to help anyone in need.  He was a member of Historic Old St. John’s Church in Utica.

     Mr. Marrero is survived by Frances Marrero of Utica; five children, Fanasha Marrero of Hoboken,, Angelo Marrero, Jr. and Christian Marrero, both of Utica; as well as Geovanni Marrero,Julissa Marrero and Hector Cordero and their mother, Jenny Silva all of Utica; brothers and sisters, Jose Marrero, Carmen Marrero, Margie Marrero, Felix Marrero, Javier Marrero, William Marrero, Brenda Rosario, Nilsa Rosario, Cindy Rosario and Robert Rosario, as well as two cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Angela and one son, Louis Marrero, Jr.

     Visitation for family and friends is Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, followed by a funeral service at the conclusion of visitation.  Please omit flowers and consider donating to the needs of the family.
