Alice Mary (Roberts) Rinehard, 94, a quiet and gentle soul, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the Abraham House in Rome. Alice was born in Utica on September 2,1925, the daughter of George and Catherine Roberts. She was educated in the Utica School System. In 1944, in California, Alice married Jack A. Rinehard and shared a blessed union until Jack’s passing in 1984. Alice enjoyed doing crafts, knitting, sewing and dancing. In her earlier years she danced with the ‘Disco Dolls’ from the East Side Senior Ctr. and loved square dancing! Alice is survived by her six children, Tim (Teri), Michael (Tina), Ken (Bev), David (Shelly), Kathy, Karen (Joe). She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Alice had a very close companion, Keith Davis, who passed in 2008. Keith and his family were like a second family to Alice and she had much love and appreciation for them. There will be private services for family only.
