Chante’ S. Miller, 26, of Rome, NY, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020. Chante’ was born in New Hartford on October 13, 1993, the daughter of Jeffery Miller and Dorothea Brown Miller. She was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of Proctor High School. Chante’ was employed with Bank of America in New Hartford. She enjoyed doing hair and nails, she loved music, and sports, especially basketball, softball and volleyball, which she played with great skill in high school. She was of the Baptist faith. Chante’ is survived by her seven beloved children, Niayala, Keithy, Keishon, Zequan, Zymiere, Lashawn and Lamarr; her parents, Jeffery Miller and Dorothea Miller; six sisters, Shauntel, Alaysha, Sharissa, Monea, Tajanae’ and Tasia; three brothers, Jeffrey, Johnathan and Rackwon; grandparents, Dorothy Brown, Howard Carr, Tina Miller-Dellow and Willie Jefferson; three special nephews, Domonick, Zhon and Khari and two special cousins, Harold Hassan and Basir as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her great grandmother, Betty VanDee. Visitation for family and fiends is Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 10:00-12:00 at Peter Spencer Church, 841 Bleecker St., Utica, followed by a service at the 12:00 noon. Her burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica.
