I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.
When we are grieving the loss of a loved one, we can find comfort from the scriptures. I found a couple scriptures at jw.org.
Psalm 55:22 promises that God will sustain us if we just throw our burdens on him. So we need to remember to pray.
I look forward to seeing him in the resurrection when he will again be enjoying friends/family. (John 5:28,29).
I hope these scriptures bring you as much comfort as they bring me.

So sad to see this! Your store will forever be a part of my childhood. We were constantly there, many times on the way back from Addison Miller and would buy your nickel root beer popsicles and penny gum. Your subs were fantastic. You always talked to us and had a constant smile. I can picture your store even now. Those were the good old days. Thank you for the memories. May you Rest In Peace and may your family find some comfort in the fact that you were loved by so many kids in the neighborhood.

Hand over heart,
Mr. Cardinale, may you find comfort in knowing how many lives you have touched. Your store was and will forever be embedded in my childhood memories. Your subs and cold Nehi’s were a local favorite. Fly high Mr. Cardinale.
My sincere condolences to the family.

So shocked and sad to see that my friend, Norm had passed. I am blessed to have known him and his wonderful, family. I still can’t believe he’s gone.
At one time, I lived across the street from the store.
Memories of sitting on the porch, talking to his Mom and Dad. Bumping into him at The liquor store. Saw him delivering flowers to brighten someone’s day.
Bumping into him and Craig at Vernon Downs.
His infectious smile and sincere demeanor will never be forgotten. I’ll miss seeing you. I pray that you are in a better place. So sorry to Helen, Craig and the Family. We lost a good one. :(

So sorry for your loss. My grandparents (John & Stella Rodziewicz) lived next door to the store and I remember getting popsicles, baseball cards, comic books and an occasional list of cold cuts when I was little. Norm always gave me a free piece of bologna.
My parents (Patricia & Bob Billings) also express their condolences.
He was a great person and a pleasure to have known both as a child and later in life when I saw him out and about. God bless.

A friendly face at the liquor store on Oneida Street, and then at the Price Chopper plaza. Always a smile and a greeting: "Hey young fella!" (we were the same age) We'd occasionally get talking about old times and shake our heads at the way the world was going. That was our only interaction, but you know, I feel as though I have indeed known him for years, and he was a friendly and good-natured part of it. I will miss seeing him, but I won't forget him. Godspeed and prayers.
