Mr. Shawn P. Fisher, 51, of Utica, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at the Abraham House in Rome, NY.
Shawn was born in New Hartford on February 20, 1969, the son of Joseph and Radine (LaManque) Fisher and received his educatiuon in local schools. Shawn was an thrill seeker whose idol growing up was Evil Kneivel. He especially enjoyed four wheelers, snowmobiles and dirt bikes. He was also a car enthusaist and was of the Catholic faith.
Shawn is survived by his son, Brendan; daughters, Summer, Mary and Rose; step-daughter, Deadra; four sisters, Kathleen Klotz, Christine and Tim Fahy, Candace Surprenant and Billie and Neil Perkins; two special nieces and one special nephew, Erica Klotz, Jessica Voorhees and Neil Perkins, Jr.; his friend, Jimmy Wilcox and his best friend for over 40 years, Richard Hubbard and his wife Kelly. Also surviving are grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to recent health concerns, a private family service will be held. Shawn will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro.
