I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I have known Mike since I was a little kid. He was always good to me. When I got on the job he was always very supportive and offered advice freely to me. He was without a doubt the smartest cop I have ever seen.
To the Tartaglia family I am so very sorry, and I pray that your memories of Mike will ease your grief. He is in heaven now, but I am so grateful that I got to know him.

So sorry to learn of Mike’s passing. My cousin “Coochie” lived in the same house back in the 1940s. He and Roofie Jr and Anna lived with his widowed mom, Bertha, in Grandma Teresa’s flat. 1802 Bleecker St.
Memories of them playing dominoes with Grandma! They would accuse her of cheating. Then you would hear some choice words in broken English.
Bertha was the most wonderful mother he could ever wish for. God bless.

Mike Sr., his son Mike, and Grandson Mike are three generations of the nicest guys you’ll ever find. The day I saw Mike, pictured below, he was happy as hell to remind me of how he helped me out of trouble once. Of course we laughed about it because it’s a pretty funny story. Rest In Peace my friend.
