I just learned of Joe Booth’s passing and was shocked. He was a friend and a colleague that I admired. He had the rare combination of being brilliant and kind. He was an exceptional human being, well loved and admired by his patients, friends and colleagues.

I just now heard of Joe's passing. I am in shock. I will miss his kind professional support and insights. He gave 100% to his patients and was both well respected and well loved by virtually everyone he treated. The world was a better place because Joe was in it.

I worked with Dr. Booth when he was in his residency at St. Elizabeth Family Practice, during his 3 year stint. He was very professional, personable, and respectful of his patients and the whole staff. I'll never forget seeing him at the hospital when I was reviewing charts for insurance company. He looked at me strangely as I was not in a nursing uniform. Told me that I went to the Dark Side. So funny! Condolences to his family! Rest in peace!

Dr. Booth took over when Dr. Gaffney was retiring. I was a young teenager and brought my husband and children to his practice. He was our favorite doctor until we moved away from NY in 2009. Dr. Booth was a good kind man. He was alway available day night weekend didn’t matter. He was not only the Doc for our family for my mom, my daughter, myself my brother and many other family members and friends but a good friend. He never said no I’m too busy. When Dr. Booth started his Deerfield Family Practice, I was one of his first patients. I continued as a patient until his retirement in 2018. It was very difficult for me to leave the comfort of Dr. Booth's practice. He was kind, dedicated, empathetic, a brilliant diagnostician and never made me feel unsure of his concern for my well-being. My condolences to his family. The world needs more doctors like Dr. Booth, as he was one in a million and will be sorely missed.

I knew Dr Booth back when he started at Heritage. He helped my family in mo ways than anyone could know. He watched the kids grow, helped me through many of their illnesses. Took wonderful care of my mom in her last days. I can never forget all he did. Such a kind, compassionate man and Dr. he will be missed. My sympathy o his entire family. We are so saddened to learn of Dr. Booth's passing. He was our family Dr. for many years. When our son was in a snowmobile accident, he stepped in for his care and saved his life. There aren't enough words to show all our appreciation to Dr. Joseph Booth for all he did for our family for many years until the last day of his practice as I (Nancy Getz) was his last patient. Joseph was a wonderful, caring, doctor. I had the opportunity to work with him at Heritage .He went above and beyond for his residents. They all adored him. He also took good care of me and my family. Especially my husband who had many health problems after a car accident. We missed him so much when he retired.
