Dear Pasik Family and Friends of Father Mark,
We are deeply saddened to learn about Father Mark’s untimely passing and offer our heartfelt condolences to all of you! We loved Father Mark’s beautiful, uplifting sermons, and we’ll always remember the very special bond that he established with our family while serving as pastor at St. Casimir’s Church in Endicott, NY, from 1987-1999. We kept in touch with Father Mark over the years at Christmas time, and we’ll always treasure the afternoon that we spent with him a few year’s ago as his guests touring his beautiful Saint Mark’s Church and grounds and reminiscing about the many fun times and special moments that we shared together while he was our pastor. Rest In Peace, Father Mark, and thanks for being the best friend, priest, and guiding influence that anyone could ever pray for!
Your friends in Christ,
Gary, Marla, Bryan, & Matt Beattie

The Grudzinski family sends their condolences. We have fond memories of him at Transfiguration Church. He was always interested in what our daughter was doing while on deployment in the Navy. He gave her 1st Communion years ago. We will all keep him in our prayers.

Dear Pasik Family, I was so sorry to hear of Fr. Mark’s death. As a former parishioner of Transfiguration Church in Rome, I will always be thankful for the very reverent Masses father celebrated and his insistence on reverence and silence when you entered God’s House. I remember Father Mark always preaching the truths of the Catholic Faith and didn’t water down his homilies to reflect the spirit of the age - truly preached the truth in and out of season. Father was still at Transfiguration when my mother passed away in January 2008. He was still mourning the loss of his beloved brother who died from similar circumstances as my mother. Father Mark and mom had numerous opportunities to chat after morning masses and when she learned he loved garlic, she made sure he had an ample supply every year from dad’s garden. The very reverent and beautiful Mass of Christian Burial he concelebrated for mom certainly helped dad and my entire family deal with that tragedy. Father Mark was truly a good and faithful servant of our Lord - May our Lord grant him eternal rest. He will remain in my prayers as well as prayers for all his family and parishioners. - Margaret (Rotolo)Bovi

Fr. Mark was our family priest for several years. He was there for my sons baptism, first confession and first communion. He also presided over my mother and fathers funerals. His absence will leave a hole in my heart forever.

My name is Ann Bagnetto. Years ago I worked third shift at IBM. In the morning, I would go to morning Mass at St.Casmir's church. Fr.Mark always had a wonderful homily, he spoke so clearly on the teachings of the church. I was so impressed, the moment you entered the church, with the respect and reverence given to Our Lord and the intense feeling of peace, as you stepped through the door. I was stunned to hear of his passing. As I have had wonderful talks with him. To his family, I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
