Willie Williams IV, who was born on December 10, 1995, went home to be with his father on October 12, 2020. The son of Airlene Michelle Tanner and Willie Williams III, from birth Willie had a light that shined bright through his charismatic outlook of life. He was a genuine and compassionate person that had the ability to make everyone fee special. With his infectious laugh he spread constant joy. A graduate of T. R. Proctor High School, Willz had goals and hopes for an amazing future. His love for dance kept him moving but in his down time he was a talented artist with a love for comics. He cherished those he loved. As unexpected as it is, Willie lived to the fullest and left his mark on everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed by all that he leaves behind. He his survived by his only child, Amora, who he called his greatest gift, simply put she gave him a purpose; his mother, who’s pain is unmeasurable; sisters who acted as motherly as they could, Tisher Scarborough (James), Shatima Felder (Philadelphia), Nicole Williams, Alexandria Tanner; brothers he loved who were always there for him, Ian Tanner (Utica) and Ulysses Brown (Utica); his maternal grandparents, Shirley Weston (Richard); his caring Aunt Tina Shelton who affectionately called him Free Willie, his supportive Uncle Richard Weston, Jr., who always encouraged him to reach his potential as well as his Uncle Willie Jefferson. Being an uncle meant the most to him and he played that role well to his beloved nieces, Schwnika Patterson, Se’Ani, DeJanae, Kalise, Nialah-Michelle, Latisha, Amelia and A’lana; his admiring nephews, Jaleak, Jeramiah, Ian Jr., Lloyd, Devarres, Khamani, Sean Jr, Sean’nair and baby Fa’miir. He loved being your Uncle Willie. Lastly to his very special friends who were always there for him, William Morris, Meshach Ford, Jahmese, Kimberly, Essence, Robin and Charisma, a bond forever remembered. He was predeceased by his loving father and paternal grandparents, Thoma Lee Peterson and Willie Williams II, as well as his maternal great grandmother, Bessie Mae Tanner, maternal grandfather, Alexander King and a very special cousin Donovan Weston. Our loss is Heavens gain, dance in Heaven Willz.
