Thoughts On Richard's passing:
Richard Pasick was born in Utica, NY, on August 2nd 1930. He passed away on October 30,2020, living a long life, much longer than he deserved. He is survived by his four children. His love was abundant when it came to himself, but for his children it was limited. He being an only child, all the attention was focused on him. So, throughout his life he reciprocated that love to his mother rather than to his wife and children.
Richard’s focus was on what was best for him and his mother. His well-being, his work, his flying, his camp, his time. His wife and children were treated as servants relegated to serving him and his wants and needs. Did he spend any time with his wife? Take her out periodically? Get her gifts from time to time? Treat her with respect? No! Did he spend any time with his kids? Take any interest in their interests? Spend any time with them? Play any sports with them? Show up at any games? No!
It will be challenging to miss him because he was narcissistic. He was incapable of loving others, except his mother. Richard’s passing means his narcissism goes with him, and it marks a time of healing, which will allow his children to get the closure they deserve. Richard can be remembered for being a father, but never a dad.

I've loved your Dad (and Mom) for what seems like forever in my life. They've been so good to me and my family, and I remember fondly sharing Chemo treatments with your mother. I know that "Dad" was ready to go and has been for a little while. May he finally rest in peace with "Mom" and the lord. God's blessings on all of you, and may he bring sunshine to your hearts in this time of mourning.
