Jacquelyn Amber VanNort, a lifelong resident of Utica, passed away on Friday December 4, 2020 at Faxton-St Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford. Jackie was born in Utica, on August 1, 1947, the daughter of William Russell and Norma (Stenske) VanNort. Jackie was a devoted sister, aunt, cousin and friend to everyone she met. She was a very loving person; she always had a smile and would give you the shirt off her back. She was a devoted Yankees fan and could be found watching the game, while crocheting the next blanket that so many had the pleasure of receiving. She is survived by her sister, Penny Godden of FL; her Godson, Brian Godden of Fl as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves Caleigh and Caz Koss; Morgan and Finnleigh Price who affectionately called her Nanny. A good friend Marcianne Price and so many other very special friends. She was predeceased by her parents and three brothers, Tim, Daniel and William VanNort The family would like to thank MaryAnn Foster for the wonderful help and care she provided to Jackie.
