Patricia A. Zegarelli – Lyszczarz, 70, of North Utica passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Patricia was born in Utica on May 11, 1950, a daughter of Marie (Brittelli) Zegarelli and the late Anthony Zegarelli. In Utica in 1969 Patricia was united in marriage to Paul Lyszczarz. For many years she was employed with Sturges Manufacturing in Utica. Patricia was a homebody who enjoyed watching her adored parakeet Baby and her shows, QVC and Leave it to Beaver. Patricia is survived by her husband, Paul, her mother, Marie Zegarelli, Utica, a son, Jeffrey Lyszczarz and Sharon Hayes, Utica, a daughter, Roxanne Carey and Scott Marsh, Sauquoit, five grandchildren, John (Amanda) Carey, Jeremy Carey (Shawn Occhipinti), Jeffrey Lyszczarz, Brittney Lyszczarz, and Sydney Hayes, five great grandchildren, John, Blake, Marrisa, Evelyn and Ellie and two brothers, Anthony (Skip) (Michele) Zegarelli, Frankfort and Gary (Dawn) Zegarelli, Utica. The family would like to remember her nurses and aides at the Lutheran Home, during her brief stay there. Patricia was predeceased by her father and an infant brother, Mark Zegarelli. Services for Mrs. Lyszczarz will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
