Obituary of Marjorie T. (May) Terenzetti

Mrs. Marjorie T. (May) Terenzetti, 85, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica.
Marjorie was born in Mineral Point, WI, on November 11, 1935, the 5th child of Herman and Mary (McCarville) May. Marjorie attended and was a graduate of Mineral Point High School, class of 1953. She moved to Madison, WI and worked with Wisconsin Power and Light. It was there in 1958, that she met and married Guido “Peter” Terenzetti, with whom she shared over 62 years of loving marriage. Marjorie traveled and lived in several states in support of her husband’s career. In doing so, she and her family moved 13 different times. Because Marjorie was one of those special persons that everyone loved and her tremendous religious faith, helped her through these times in which she made many lifelong friends. Marge and Guido, along with their family, finally settled in Utica, where they had their 6th child. She was a longtime participant of St. Peter’s Church Holy Name Society and was actively involved in her children’s lives, even working at the schools they attended.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Guido “Peter”, who cared for and gave her love, support and devotion throughout their marriage; her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Patty Terenzetti of Deerfield and their children, Nathan, Cameron, Hannah and Andrei; her son, Michael Terenzetti of Utica and his children, Michael, Natalie and Rachel; her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Dominick Mauro of Deerfield and their children, Christina, Nicholas and Isabella; her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Jim Miller of Maryland and their children, Austin, Jordan and Cassie; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Michelle Terenzetti of SC and their children, Brenna and Anthony; her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Ed Niles of Maryland and their children, Abby, Olivia and Jackson and six great grandchildren, Dominic, Giovanni, Liam, Paislee, Danny and Nora. She was predeceased by her parents, Herman and Mary, sisters, Norma and Genevieve and brothers, Paul, Harold and Jack.
Mrs. Terenzetti’s funeral will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Church, 440 Keyes Rd., N. Utica, where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Her burial in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica, will be held at the convenience of the family.
