Elizabeth M. Biamonte, 86, of Clinton passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Elizabeth was born in Utica on May 16, 1934, a daughter of William and Fern (Thompson) Newell. At St. Joseph’s Church, Utica on December 19, 1953, Elizabeth was united in marriage to Ronald Biamonte, a blessed union of 60 years until his death on March 8, 2013. For many years she was employed with the Whitesboro School system, then later until her retirement at Chicago Pneumatic. Elizabeth was a member of St. Paul’s Church, Whitesboro and the Maynard Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Elizabeth is survived by her two daughters, Belinda Ladd, Utica and Christine (Thomas) Burlin, MD; five grandchildren, David Small, Jon (Amanda) Small, Dana (James) Shockey, Greg (Stephanie) Burlin and Melissa Burlin and fiancée William Lassister; seven great grandchildren, Zander Small, Cora Small, Presley Shockey, Charlotte Shockey, Myles Shockey, Nico Burlin, and Demi Burlin; a sister, Janet Gilberti, Utica and a brother, Richard Newell, MA Mrs. Biamonte’s funeral will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:30 at St. Paul’s Church, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., Utica are Saturday morning from 9:30 – 11:00. Those so wishing may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
