Mr. John L. Cavoly, Jr., 67, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford. John was born in Utica, on February 25, 1953. John shared a loving marriage of 48 years, with his beloved, Barbara (Cittadino) Cavoly. For 7 years, John was owner and operator of Ready to Roll Auto. He then opened, Clean Machine Auto Sales, Inc. in Utica, which he operated with his brother, Donald. After retirement, John turned the business over to Donald, and was very proud of the success he had. John loved baseball, was a huge NY Yankees fan and keeping up on current events was also a past time he enjoyed. John was always there to help anyone in need and he especially loved spending time with his cherished family. Mr. Cavoly is survived by his beloved wife Barbara; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Chrishelle Cavoly; Kelly Ann DiNigro, and Anthony and Amanda DiNigro; two sisters-in-law, Johann Cittadino and Michele and the late Robert Cittadino; niece and nephew, Stevie Lazarek, Susan Penner; as well as many additional nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Mr. Cavoly is predeceased by father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Caroline Cittadino; and his sister Janine (Cavoly) Campola. Mr. Cavoly’s family extends a special thank you to the staff on the 6th floor at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, along with Lori Fiorentino, NP and the Palliative Care Team, for the wonderful care and compassion you provided to John. In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
