Jerriann Alice Dousharm, 54, of Deerfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Rome Hospital. Jerriann was born in Utica, on December 7, 1966, the daughter of Jerald F. “Duke” and Adrianne (Taylor) Dousharm. She was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. At one time, Jerriann was employed with Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center and currently with Mohawk Correctional Facility as a Housekeeping Supervisor. Spending time in Old Forge was a favorite pastime of Jerriann. She also enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her family and friends and especially loved her Labradors, Jax and Josie, predeceased by Cocoa and Duke. She was a communicant of St. Mark’s Church in N. Utica. Jerriann is survived by her longtime loving companion, Wayne Redmond of Deerfield; her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Ashley (Wells) Dousharm of Boston, MA; her mother, Adrianne Dousharm of Utica; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Doreen and Joseph Marsh of Baldwinsville, NY and Dianne Dousharm Femia of Utica; niece and nephew, Ashley Marsh (Michael Goodman) of Syracuse and Jordan Femia of Deerfield; Wayne’s two daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Matthew Molnar of New Hartford and Lauren and Rocco Militano of Deerfield; Wayne’s brother and sister-in-law Steve and Eileen Redmond of Utica; Wayne’s sister and brother-in-law Karen and Salvatore Noti of Whitesboro; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and Wayne’s nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Jerald. Visitation for family and friends is Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica, followed by a funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 at St. Mark’s Church, 440 Keyes Rd., N. Utica.
