Carrie Ann Scrofani, 48, of Utica passed away at home unexpectedly on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Carrie was born in Arcadia, CA on March 25, 1972, a daughter of Joseph Scrofani and Denise Kulesa Scrofani Bankert. She was raised and educated in Utica and was a 1993 graduate of Utica Free Academy. Carrie was employed with Upstate Cerebral Palsy. Carrie always enjoyed working with animals, drawing and coloring.
Carrie is survived by her mother, Denise (Richard) Bankert, her father, Joseph (Marie) Scrofani, brother, Joe (Nicole) Scrofani, niece and nephew, Karson Scrofani and Kassidy Scrofani, all of Las Vegas, NV, several cousins and her friends who became family.
Calling hours for Carrie will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 2:30 -4:00 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Those so wishing may make donations to the ARC Oneida-Lewis Chapter or the Stevens-Swan Humane Society.
