Kitty,
I’m so sorry to hear of Nick’s passing. I will always remember and will miss his friendship, his lively conversation, his laughter, and all our political debates. He was a wonderful man, and even when we were hotly debating some timely issue, I loved his intelligence, his knowledge, and his respect. Our conversations were the major reason I showed up every day. When he moved from the New Hartford gym to North Utica, things were not the same without Nick. When we weren’t debating, I enjoyed all his stories about his (and your) children and how proud he was of each one. I don’t have to tell you what a remarkable man he was and what a good friend he was. Your relationship and love story was one I truly envied. I know you will be lost without him. My contact information is in Nick’s phone, so if you need me for anything, I will happily help you.
Love,
Brigitte M. Garrison, Ph.D.
