Suzanne C. D’Amore, 84, of New Hartford passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Abraham House in Utica. Suzanne was born in Utica on February 6, 1937, a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Geruntino) Magee. In Utica, Suzanne married Joseph D. D’Amore, a blessed union until his death in 2004. For several years she was employed with F. W. Woolworth in Utica. Suzanne was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Yorkville Seniors. Suzanne is survived by her children, Joseph D’Amore, Jr., Donna (Frank) Carcone, Rosalie (Daniel) Bushey and John (Laura) D’Amore; 11 grandchildren, Joey D’Amore, Chelsea D’Amore, Patty (Mike) Spagnola, Ronnie Niznik, Sabrina (Peter) Moot, Andrew Bushey, Joshua Bushey, Amber Wilson, Suzanne D’Amore, Natalie D’Amore and Anthony D’Amore; two great grandchildren, Dominick Spagnola and Peter Moot and a brother, James Magee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Suzanne was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. A funeral mass for Mrs. D’Amore will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 10:30 am from St. Mary of Mt. Carmel / Blessed Sacrament Church, Utica. There are no calling hours. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Utica. Those so wishing may make donations to the Abraham House in Suzanne’s memory.
