Mr. Rocco Rintrona, Jr., 69, of Holland Patent, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. Rocco was born in Utica, on October 28, 1951, the son of Rocco, Sr. and Lena (Scafidi) Rintrona. Rocco loved watching NY Yankees baseball games and enjoyed doing scratch off lottery tickets, which he was very lucky at. He was a very passionate man who hugged and kissed everyone. If you were fortunate enough to know Rocco, you knew he loved to show off his muscles and squeeze your hand. He was of the Catholic faith. Rocco is survived by his devoted brother, Richard L. Rintrona and his partner, Laura Misiaszek of New Hartford, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Rocco and Lena. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family will celebrate Rocco’s life in a private service. He will be laid to rest with his parents, at St. Agnes Cemetery in Utica.
