Salvatore Fallove, 93, of N. Utica passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. Salvatore was born in Amsterdam, NY on August 21, 1927, a son of Pasquale and Philomena (Zullo) Fallova. He graduated from Clarkson University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Salvatore proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. At St. Joseph’s Church, in Little Falls, NY, on May 11, 1957, he was united in marriage to Rosalie Placidi. For 30 years until his retirement in 1986, Salvatore was employed at Griffiss Air Force Base where he secured high valued assets for the government across the globe. He was a member of St. Peter’s Church, N. Utica and American Legion Post #229, N. Utica. Salvatore loved going to the casino and especially enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas. Salvatore is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalie; two daughters, Debra (Scott) Rosen, Franklin Lakes, NJ and Patricia Capitani, Lancaster, NY; three grandchildren, Samantha Rosen and husband, Joseph Zinkan, Salvatore Capitani and Francesca Capitani; a great granddaughter, Skylar Zinkan; a nephew, Joseph Baia, NC and good friends, Richard and Nancy Loreto, Rome, Anthony and Marie Cucinotta, Utica and Richard and Linda Kiley, Utica. Salvatore was predeceased by his son-in-law, Mark Capitani and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph and Marion Zambri. Mr. Fallove’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 10:00 at St. Peter’s Church, N. Utica. Calling hours at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica are Tuesday from 3-5. All COVID protocols must be followed. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Little Falls, NY. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to St. Peter’s Church.
