Jean E. Boucher, 84, of North Utica passed away at home on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Jean was born in Utica on June 12, 1936, a daughter of Walter and Anna (Borliska) Zalewski. At St. Stanislaus Church, Utica on March 25, 1957, Jean was united in marriage to William N. Boucher Sr., a blessed union of 62 years until his death on January 10, 2019. For many years she was employed with W. T. Grant Co. in Utica. Jean was of the Catholic faith and a member of American Legion Post #229 Ladies Auxiliary. Jean always loved playing bingo with her husband and their trips to the casino. Jean is survived by her three children, Deborah Boucher-Cardinal, Deerfield, Karen Boucher, Utica and William Boucher, Jr. and his fiancée, Alison Sault-McDonagh, Utica; five grandchildren, Kyle (Brittney) Cardinal, Zachary (Eileen) Cardinal, William Boucher III, Paige Boucher and Ahlana Boucher; two great grandsons, Michael Anthony Cardinal and Dean Edward Cardinal, brothers-in-law, Richard Boucher, New York Mills and Clayton Boucher, Remsen and sisters-in-law, Carol Ann Williams, Floyd and Barbara Boucher, Biloxi, Mississippi. Calling hours for Mrs. Boucher will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 10:00-12:00 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica with a service to be held at 12:00. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. All Covid protocols must be followed.
