Mr. Loren M. Moore (Taco), 55, of Utica, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Loren was born in Utica, on March 13, 1966, the son of Robert C., Sr. and Mary Catherine (Clark) Moore and received his education in Utica schools. Loren proudly served his country in the US Army from 1983-1986. On February 6, 2000, Loren was united in marriage with Donna L. Carey. For many years, Loren was employed as a cook with various local restaurants, including; Kirby’s, the Uptown Grill and Zebb’s. He enjoyed listening to music, cooking, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he was of the Catholic faith. Loren’s greatest joy came from spending time with his loving family. Mr. Moore is survived by his beloved wife, Donna; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Christopher Roy; step-son, William Drake; seven cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Grace, Logan, Wyatt, Anthony, Trevani and Crysta; sister and brother-in-law, Cyndi (Moore) and Russell Corman; brother, Robert C. Moore, Jr., as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Catherine and half-brother, Philip Santucci Visitation for family and friends is Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, followed by a prayer at the conclusion of visitation. His burial will be Monday, May 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica. Those wishing to make a donation in Loren’s name, please consider the needs of Loren's wife.
