Mr. Timothy Shephard, 64, a resident of the Marion-Ruggiero Apartments on Bleecker St., Utica, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, with his loving sister by his side. Timothy was born in Utica, on August 18, 1956, the son of Stuart Raymond and Patricia (Miller) Shephard, and received his education in Utica Schools. For many years, Timothy was employed in the food industry in the Utica area. He loved listening to music, playing cards, cooking and especially spending time with friends and family. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Shephard is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and James McLeod of Canastota, NY; brother, Richard Shephard of Utica; four special nephews, Thomas Karrat of Marcy, Matthew Shephard of Whitesboro, Allen Shephard of Utica and Michael Shephard of Utica; a special niece, Theresa Karrat of Canastota; a special aunt, Virginia Miller; aunt, Nancy Shephard Emerson; two sisters-in-law, Diane Shephard and Mary Lou Shephard, as well as additional nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Stuart and Patricia and three brothers, Robert, Joseph and Larry Shephard. Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, May, 12, 2021 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation. He will be laid to rest in St. Agnes Cemetery in Utica at the convenience of his family.
