Ms. Laurie A. Lindsey, 45, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at her home. Laurie was born in New Hartford, on March 22, 1976, the daughter of Joyce A. Lindsey and received her education in Utica Schools. At one time, Laurie was employed in the dietary department with Loretto Utica Center Nursing Facility. Ms. Lindsey is survived by her four cherished children, Shawnte Brown, Jasmine Johnson and Alan Johnson all of Utica and Anthony Hampel of Horry, SC; one sister, Sabrina Lindsey of Utica, as well as eight adored grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends is Monday, May 24, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica followed by a prayer at 11:00 at the conclusion of visitation. She will be laid to rest with her mother at St. Agnes Cemetery in Utica.
