Mr. Gordon “Elvis” T. Sachs, 71, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. Gordon was born in Utica on December 21, 1949 and received his education in local schools. At one time, he was employed with the City of Utica. Gordon loved to sing and impersonate Elvis Presley, he was an animal lover and a true people person. He was also a member of the Utica Overseas Club and was of the Protestant faith. Mr. Sachs’ is survived by his longtime loving companion, Ellen Saramaha of Utica, two sons, Gordon and Randy and many dear friends. A graveside prayer service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Utica. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Heintz Funeral Service, Inc. Utica.
