Mr. James F. Davis, 84, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford. James was born in Utica, on December 22, 1936, the son of Clarence and Ruth (Thomas) Davis and received his education in Utica Schools. At one time, James was employed with General Electric Company in Utica and more recently, with St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital in New Hartford. He was of the Methodist Faith. Mr. Davis is survived by two daughters and one sons-in-law, Christine and Richard Pierce of Frankfort and Renee and Gary Taylor of Whitesboro; step-son, Richard Liberatore; two cherished granddaughters, Jade Beauharnois and Sara Pierce; one adored great granddaughter, Quinn Boles; one brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Linda Davis of CT; special cousin, Carl Burr of Utica, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Constance Oakley and two brothers, Robert Perry and Richard Perry. Burial will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
