Mr. Robert “Bob” G. Cieslak, 56, of NY Mills, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021. Robert was born in Utica, on May 28, 1965, the son of Walter (Wally) F. and Kathleen A. (Jones) Cieslak. He was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. At one time, Bob was employed with Indium Corp., later with McCraith Beverages and currently with Walmart Distribution Center. Bob was an avid sports enthusiast, having coached his son’s baseball team and he also enjoyed hunting. Robert is survived by his son, Robert J. Cieslak and Sierra Corney of Yorkville; his cherished granddaughter, Haylee Cieslak; his former wife of 25 years, Robin Cieslak; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Thomas Cieslak and Esther Gregory of Utica and Walter and Kristie Cieslak and their daughter, Madison, of Whitesboro; his aunt, Robin Jones of Utica; two cousins, Tricia Jones and Richard Jones; nephew, Daniel Fluty and niece, Alexa Fluty. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July, 6, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica.
