Miss Amanda M. Wilcox, 30, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Amanda was born in Utica, on December 26, 1990, the daughter of Kathleen A. Connolly. She was raised locally and received her education at Proctor High School. Amanda enjoyed poetry, singing and was a gifted artist. She was of the Catholic Faith. Amanda is survived by her loving mother, Kathleen A. Connolly of Utica; two sisters, Tanya Transou and Brianna Stevenson both of Utica; three brothers, Thomas Grimes of Utica, Gary Wilcox, Jr and Courtnie Benjamin of Tannersville, NY and Adam Wilcox of Utica; her cherished nieces and nephews, ShiRae Transou, James Transou, Jr., Emily Transou, Caleb Transou, Emma Wilcox, Trevor Wilcox, NyRhani Stevenson and JahMari Stevenson, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Andrea Connolly and grandmother, Anne Connolly. Visitation for family and friends is Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, followed by a service at 6:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation.
