Mrs. Jeanne C. Sutton, 65, of Utica, passed away on August 5, 2021 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford. Jeanne was born in Utica, on May 5, 1956, the daughter of Evan, Sr., and Ruth (Barnard) Lewis and received her education at Utica Free Academy. On October 15, 1983, Jeanne was united in marriage with Donald Sutton, a devoted union of 25 years, until Donald death in 2008. Jeanne enjoyed spending her free time, watching her favorite programs on T.V. Mrs. Sutton is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lacey and Jason Kowiatek of Oriskany; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Todd O’Dell of Utica and Chad and Cassandra Lewis of Little Falls; 5 cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Cheyenne, Ashlee, Octavious and Christopher; one adored great grandson, Liam; two sisters, Lori Lewis of Utica and Barbara Bowen of Little Falls; two nieces, Ashlea and Patty; one nephew, Fiore, as well as many additional nieces and nephews She was predeceased by three brothers, Marty Lewis, Ricky Lewis and Evan Lewis, Jr. and one sister, Sherry Delmonico. Visitation for family and friends is Friday, August 13, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica.
