Elaine Neal, 66, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Born on April 21, 1955, in Utica, NY, Elaine was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Katie (Thomas) Neal. She received her education in the Utica Schools. Elaine for much of her working life worked in house keep for several business in Utica. One of her last employments was with United Cerebral Palsy. She enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. If she wasn’t with family she loved Bingo and other card games like spades and spending time at the Casino. She is survived by her two sons Dion Neal, Baltimore, MD., Jermaine Neal, Utica, four daughters Monique Jenkins, Renee’ Jenkins, Samantha McDonald and Tyessia Neal all of Utica, two sisters, Theresa Neal and her companion Rick Monroe, Utica and Gloria Price and her husband Nathaniel, Utica; a brother Jimmie Thomas and his wife Kris, Dothan AL, 32 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Johnnie and Katie Neal, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorraine and Cartwright McClain and Mattie Thomas and Arthur Lee Cromons. Elaine’s family and friends will be gathering privately for a funeral service at the Heintz Funeral Services, Inc., 1517 Whitesboro Street, NY., 13502 with Pastor Jarrod Spratt officiating. Interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica
