Mr. Kenneth G. Barimo, 77, of West Monroe, NY, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Rome Memorial Hospital. Kenneth was born in Utica, on December 10, 1943, the son of George and Frances (Grenicko) Barimo. He was raised in Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. For many years, Kenneth shared a loving and devoted marriage with Patricia (Laskowski) Barimo, until her recent passing in November 2020. Kenneth was employed with the Utica DPW and was a parishioner of the former St. Francis de Sales Church in Utica. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Barimo is survived by his loving sister, Sandra Grimes of N. Utica; two cherished nephews, John Grimes and Daniel Grimes and his fiancé, Kelly Miller Thomas, and one cousin, Barbara Allardice. He was predeceased by one brother, Nicholas Barimo. In keeping with Kenneth’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
