Obituary of Paul M. Falk

Mr. Paul M. Falk, 62, of Rome, NY, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, with his loving family by his side. Paul was born in Utica, on July 19, 1959, the son of Walter and Irene (Burke) Falk. He was raised in Utica, was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Mohawk Valley Community College. Paul was united in marriage with Cynthia Hammill at St. Leo’s Church in Holland Patent, NY. Paul was a wallpaper and painting contractor in the Utica-Rome area. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, a talented wood worker and he was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Falk is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Adam Meyers of Colonie, NY; son, Stephen Falk of Remsen; brothers, Lawrence Falk of Utica, Bernard (Barbara) Falk of Hershey, PA, and Gerard (Debra) Falk of Ilion; sisters-in-law and brothers-in law, Mary Ann Falk of Rome, Deborah (Marco) Indolfi of Floyd, John (Christina) Hammill of Hinckley, Christine (Richard) Furlong of Holland Patent, Cheryl (Gregg) Sebastian of Trenton Falls, Michael Hammill of Barneveld and Joseph Hammill of Barneveld; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and his canine companions, Atee and Loki. He was predeceased by his brother, John Falk, father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Irene Hammill, and canine companion, Jewel. In keeping with Paul’s wishes, there are no calling hours.
