Eileen G. Walker, 62, of Utica passed away on September 18, 2021 unexpectedly at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. She was born on November 15, 1958 in Utica, the daughter of the late Gardiner A. and Rosalie M. (Cady) Walker. She attended Remsen Central School. She was last employed by MVCC in the Dietary Department. Eileen was devoted to her family and loved her children. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, niece, aunt, great-aunt and friend. Eileen was a die-hard Elvis fan and loved everything Elvis. She also loved Disney and dolphins. Eileen was known for taking pictures and videos of her family and friends at every opportunity. She is survived by her children, John P. Siringo Jr of Utica and Stacy M. Siringo of Utica; three sisters, Joyce Fransman of Cold Brook, Alison Grimshaw of Cold Brook, and Sheila (Edward) McOwen of Remsen; three sisters-in-laws, Lisa Walker of Columbus, OH., Christine Walker of Remsen, Kelly Walker of Rochester; uncles, aunts, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her ex-husband and good friend, John Siringo, parents, grandparents, three brothers, Ralph Walker, Gardner Allen Walker II., and Wade Walker, as well as two brothers-in-laws Robert Fransman and Gary Grimshaw. Ms. Walker’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro, Street, Utica, NY. Calling hours will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m prior to services. Following the services, please join Eileen's family to celebrate her life at the American Legion, 409 Herkimer Rd, Utica, NY.
