Mrs. Dorothy M. Kinsinger, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the Katherine Luther Nursing Home in Clinton. Dorothy was born in Utica on November 9, 1925, the daughter of the late Irving Holstein and Mary Jones. She was raised and educated locally. On June 7, 1947, she was united in marriage to the late James F. Kinsinger, Sr., in Utica. Mr. Kinsinger predeceased her on December 12, 2012. Mrs. Kinsinger is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Robert) Sharkey of OH., four sons, James Kinsinger (Roselle Damiano), of Clinton, Michael (Janice) Kinsinger, of Holland Patent, Mark and Kurt Kinsinger, both of Utica. In addition, she is survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Smith, of Ilion and Mary (Jack) Mills, of Spencerport, NY; and a sister-in-law, Joan Kinsinger, of Utica. She was predeceased by a brother, Irving Holstein, of OK. In keeping with Mrs. Kinsinger’s wishes there will be no formal services or calling hours.
