Ms. Carol J. Williams, 79, of Utica, passed away on September 25, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. Carol was born in Utica, on December 16, 1941, the daughter of Eric and Rose (Taylor) Williams and received her education locally. Carol enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching game shows, and playing cards, especially gin rummy. She also loved her cats, her coffee and honey buns, was a lifelong NY Yankees fan and an avid country music enthusiast. Carol was of the Episcopal faith. Ms. Williams is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Albright; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Sarah Welch; two grandchildren, Tori Lansing and her husband Scott and Ryan Welch; one sister, Nancy Kistner; nieces and nephews, Tracey Williams, Vanessa Houck, Kevin McRorie, Michael Williams and David Williams, as well as her feline companion, T.T. She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Joan Giovanco and Jacqueline and Charles “Chuck” McRorie. Visitation for family and friends is Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica, followed by a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation. Carol’s family respectfully requests that you kindly wear a mask when in the building.
