My sincere condolences to Father John's family and friends. I only knew Father John for a very short period of time while I was a patient at St. Lukes Rehab Center. I loved his stories and enjoyed our brief friendship. Rest in Peace Father John.

Fr. Quinn was a positive part in shaping my life with his art and prayer through music.
Fr. Quinn and the St. Peters Folk Group families were all such a big part of our lives. I will always be thankful for him singing and strumming his guitar, leading my Dad to heaven so many years ago.

To Father John’s Family,
Father John was the real thing. There was nothing about him that was not true and kind. We had the pleasure of traveling with him on several places in Europe. His knowledge was so full and such a gift. He was beyond a doubt one of the best teachers we ever listened and learned from. He always had a kind word and he truly delivered his messages from his heart and soul. He was always about the work of the Lord even in the last days of his life. We are sure that you are enjoying your deserved rest with the Lord. We thank God that you traveled onto our path and we got to learn from you. Our sympathy and prayers to Father’s family and friends and his brother priests.

I was a student at Utica Catholic Academy when Father John was there. He was my Latin teacher. Best teacher ever! I still use some written latin symbols he taught us. He was also the moderator of the Camera Club. You had to be chosen to be in that club. I was a member and eventually President. I believe he prayed for me. I am a believer of Jesus Christ. I am thankful I will see Father John again! To God be the glory!

I remember Father Quinn from his assignment at St. Paul’s. He was a special blessing to the students at the parish school and was beloved and respected by everyone. He was able to inspire me and I’m sure many other school children with his homilies. While I certainly don’t remember the content after all these years, I know that my faith was made strong at St. Paul’s. Rest In Peace Father Quinn and thank you.
